Lethbridge Sewing Centre offers a variety of quilting and bag making classes. Our classes are limited to 5 people to ensure everyone gets individual attention and the group has fun while learning. Students are required to bring a sewing machine in good working order and to have some familiarity with its’ operation.
To register in a class, please call the store. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Payment for classes is required when registering. Class fees are nonrefundable. If the class is cancelled by the store, a credit is offered for a future class.
Learn the basics of quilting in this 4 week (12 hours) class. Students will be introduced to all the basics: cutting, piecing, making a quilt sandwich, machine quilting and binding. At the end of the 4th class, students go home with a completed lap quilt.
Fabric requirements and a supply list will be provided at registration.

We are offering this class for anyone who has a Janome Skyline S6 or S7, a 9450, M7 or 15000 (sewing function only) and wants to learn more about the sewing functions these machines offer. Bring your machine, your manual, and your questions. We will try to answer them and show lots of tips and tricks to make your sewing experience more productive and enjoyable. This class is limited to 6 participants.

This great quilt from Laura Coia – SewVeryEasy – is a “quilt as you go”. Learn to make clamshells quickly and easily, applique them and finish the machine quilting on your project at the same time! We are going to make a pillow using this technique, but you will have all the information you need to make a quilt of any size.
